Comes October 5, 2012 MTN announces the lunch of the new Nano SIM. Nano SIM is believed to be the SIM for the next generation of Smartphone and with the introduction of the new iPhone 5; the first Smartphone that is designed to use Nano SIM.

Actually, Nano SIM card is no way different (apart from the size) from the existing SIM cards and it offers the same functionality.
It is 40% smaller than micro SIM and about 0.67mm thicker than micro SIM Made for the new iPhone 5 and other new generation phones.
