iPad Browsing Settings for MTN -Configure Your iPad Following Simple Steps

Please note that you may need an MTN micro SIM before you are able to configure your 3G iPad for browsing using your MTN line. You may buy or get an MTN micro SIM at any MTN connect, shop, outlet or dealers nationwide. Register the micro SIM if it has not being registered and give some hours preferably, 24hrs for it to be activated.

 Configuring Your 3G Apple iPad for Browsing Using MTN
Having left the micro SIM for at least, 24hours, it should be registered and by then you should receive a notification message from MTN informing you of the activation. Once the SIM is activated, you can insert the micro SIM into the Apple 3G iPad and proceed to configure it for browsing the internet by locating the Settings Icon on the iPad home screen.

Before you proceed, you must subscribe to any of the MTN Internet Bundle Plans. You may call MTN customer care on 180 for inquiries about their available subscription plans' cost, activation codes and other details.

Tap the Settings Icon » Cellular data or Mobile data » APN settings 

then, enter the parameters below in the APN settings fields as appropriate.  
» APN:web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
» Username: web
» Password: gprs 

Now, exit and save the page by pressing the Home Button . Once done, test if the settings has taken effect by locating and lunching any browser on the iPad and see if it browses. If it does, then your iPad is set to accessing and browsing the internet using your MTN SIM.
