Glo Mobile Money Service Goes More Mobile As First Bank Conjuncts

Glo Mobile Money services goes even more mobile with the conjuction of the two giant companies in telecom and banking sectors of the Nigeria economy, Globacom Limited and First Bank of Nigeria Plc. Recently, Globacom combined forces with one of the largest and strongest banks in Nigeria, UBA with a view to deliver mobile money services more effectively and efficiently to Globacom subscribers.

And now, the duo of Globacom and First Bank of Nigeria PLC have agreed to combine their strengths to provide seamless mobile money services to millions of Nigerians and by this; the landscape of e-banking services in Nigeria is set to witness a major shift in the coming years.

Mobile banking is the use of mobile phones to remotely access bank accounts, primarily
for account inquiry, mobile transfer, retail payments, micro insurance, savings remittances, mobile top-up among others.

Via Glotxtcash, a service that ensures that people need not to carry a wallet and a mobile phone at the same time anymore and in conjuction with First Bank, will ensure that any subscriber on the Glo network will be catered for under the e-banking scheme.

This would further make person to person transactions in terms of sending and receiving money as well as retail payments for the purchase of goods and services easier even without your wallet.
