There are two ways of setting up internet on your phone using Airtel lines:
1. Over The Air configuration (OTA, Automatic)
2. Manual configuration

Note: Not all phone models accept the OTA means of configuration. (Check your user guide to determine if your handset supports OTA.) If this method does not work for your phone, you can still use the manual option.

Using OTA (Automatic) Configuration
Send an SMS with the text "INTERNET" with your phone make and model to 232. For example, if you are using Nokia 9300i and wants the Airtel Internet Configuration on it, your message in request for the settings should look like these; "internet nokia 9300i" and send it in an SMS to 232.

Shortly afterwards, you should recieve the settings in an SMS and when the settings arrive, choose the option to save it. If you are prompted for a PIN, use 0 (zero) or, for a longer pin; key in 0000.

Using Manual Configuration
For phones that does not support the OTA, Automatic Configuration method, you may key in the parameters bellow where appropriate. But, first, you must locate the "Configuration" link or Short cut on your phone.
