Lo and Behold : Facebook Messenger Has a Hidden Soccer Game
If you are a football aficionado you may already glued to your TV sets enjoying the EURO 2016. Unknown to you and us, Facebook has slipped in a new soccer game in its Facebook Messenger App. The new hidden game is now available in Facebook Messenger on iOS and Android.
Like the earlier hidden Chess game, the hidden soccer game is also relatively easy to play. You simply need to start a conversation with your friend or another football fan and send a football emoji to a friend. After you tap on the football emoji, the game starts automatically.
Remember, you can only view the football emoji and play the soccer game if you have updated your FB Messenger to latest version. The game allows you to do kick-ups in order to keep the ball in the air and prevent it from hitting the ground. Though the game looks pretty easy, it is hard to keep the ball in air.
The game records your current best score and displays emojis in the background, each time you tap on the screen. It also takes into consideration if you’ve tapped directly in the center of the ball or on the side, which makes it bounce in different directions on the screen.
When the score exceeds 10, the game adds some distractions. The interface is simple, there aren’t many things that you can do inside the game, but the whole experience is equally annoying and addictive.
Facebook has released the game in time for Euro 2016 to target all the football lovers from Europe, Asia and other places. With Copa America Centenario 2016 to be held in future, the game may be a super pasttime when the teams head for a break.
