Display and Configuration

The HP Elite x3 flaunts a stunning 5.96-inch AMOLED 2K (1,440 x 2,560 pixels) display leading up to a pixel density of 493ppi. The phone is clad in metal and looks quite premium. Under the hood, are two dual-core processors clocking at the speed of 2.2GHz and 1.5GHz along with an  Adreno 530 graphics engine and 4GB of RAM in order to drive the system in an efficient manner. It runs on Windows 10 and is able to connect to docks like - the Desk Dock andMobile Extender - and serve as a full-fledged desktop and laptop, respectively. Special features such as Quick charging, Fingerprint sensor, Wireless Charging, Water resistance and Dust proof ability, makes it a great choice. The smartphone is also IP67-certified, which means that it can withstand dust and immersion in water up to 1 meter for about 30 minutes.

Camera and Storage

The device is armed with 16MP camera at the back ( CMOSimage sensor, 2.0 F Aperture) inclusive of LED flash which can capture images up to a screen resolution of 4,616 x 3,464pixels. Other options include Exposure compensation,ISO control, Continuous Shooting, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Digital image stabilization, Face detection and Touch to focus. It also allows the user to record full HD videos which comes in handy, be it posting on networking sites, sharing with friends, editing etc. Selfie lovers can click pictures via 8MP front snapper which captures great shots. In the storage point, the device has an internal memory of 64GB which can be further expanded upto a massive 2TB using microSD card.

Battery and Connectivity

The device sips it juice from a 4,150mAh Li-Po battery which keeps the show running for long hours. For networking and sharing, the device offers a wide range of options such as 4G (doesn't support Indian bands), 3G, 2G,Wi-Fi 802.11, a/ac/b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS, NFC and USB Type C support.
