After rolling a Kitkat firmware update to Galaxy S3 last week. AT&T releases an official firmware (I317UCUCNE5) update to awaiting Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Galaxy Note 2 users can check and confirm their new software update from today over-the-air. Second generation Note users can experience all Kitkat OS features and performance. Firmware includes new security lock screen and on right camera shortcut icons.

To check for new firmware updates on Samsung: Access device settings in menu and navigate to about phones. There you find current baseband version, built number and Android version.
