HOW TO CREATE PAC FILE USING RESEARCH DOWNLOAD
This tutorial is based only on existing pac file for your unit, meaning, I only reuse the existing files from a working pac file and just modified the boot logo, recovery and system that I wanted to incorporate, then simply use Researchdownload to create the pac file.
With those who have volcano box that can extract the needed files to create a pac file then you can also use Researchdownload to make the pac file.
THINGS NEEDED:
EXISTING ADB BACKUP FILE
STEPS:
Open Researchdownload
Click Cog Gear
Search and Open your Working Pac file and wait when loaded in RD
Click Second Cog and from file name tab browse to that folder containing all the fdl1 to boot logo and copy them to your PC or flashable/external drives or any location you wish to save those files
After you copied all files, you may now set Baudrate to 57600 & select SC6820
Now start to load the files you copied earlier by simply clicking the file name tab and browse to fdl 1, fdl2, NV, SPL_LOADER,UBOOT_LOADER,Vmjaluna,Modem,DSP,Boot_IMG, etc .
Now load your own custom boot logo, recovery.img and system.img and no longer use the files you copied before and replace them instead with your own
Once you are done you may now click the packet button
give a name to your pac file and version as reference and designate location you want to save your pac file
