LG unveiled the metal-clad LG Class smartphone in South Korea back in September. Now, the company has officially launched the LG Class smartphone in Europe, but with a different name ‘LG Zero.’ Currently, the smartphone is only available in Italy and is available in Gold and Silver color variants priced at €299 (approx $320).
Coming to its specifications, the LG Zero features a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD IPS display with 2.5D arc glass on top of it. The device comes equipped with a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with Adreno 306 GPU. It has lesser 1.5GB RAM (when compared to 2GB RAM seen on the LG Class) and comes with 16GB of internal storage with microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB.
On the photography front, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for video chats and the selfie-loving world. The dual sim capable smartphone comes with connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC and a microUSB port. The LG Zero comes with a full metal build and also features 1W output speaker placed next to the camera sensor and also has physical buttons placed on the back of the handset.
The handset comes backed by a 2050 mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. The dimensions of the device measure 142 x 71.8 x 7.4 mm and weighs 147 grams. Stay tuned for more information about the launch of the smartphone in other countries.
