In January, Chinese mobile manufacturer released fully featured R1 C Smartphone. Later in the month of April, the same phone was released as R1 X in international market. Let’s take a look on Oppo R1 X features, price and supports.

Oppo R1 X is known for its outstanding design and powerful specifications. Basically, most of the Oppo Smartphone’s comes with rounded corner edge that look alike high-end device. As a best part, outer layer is protected with metal frame.  Back panel is the real attraction, a triangle pattern that looks like a sapphire that lights up.

Oppo R1 X has 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive display that measures 140.6 x 70.1 x 6.8 mm. According to outlook, it weighs 4.59 oz and 6.8 mm thick. Additionally, Li-Po non-removable 2,420 mAh battery is more enough to stay online up to 250 hours in stand-by mode. Along with Smartphone guide and headphone, company provide 5V/2A charger.

R1 X has a resolution of 720p (294ppi density) to play high quality videos without any lag. The screen is quite perky and the colors don’t blur on side way view. Initially, Oppo R1 X powered with Android 4.4.4 operating system. We can expect official Lollipop update in future.

Sadly there's no sign of the bezelless screen technology that Oppo have been working on, but that's probably still a couple of years away.

Alike Chinese manufacturer, Oppo all Smartphone’s user interface are single tier. Absences of app drawer, all the applications are arranged in single home-screen. Oppo offers its own apps for messaging, galleries and email, which is simple and easy to access. Menus option is very modest look with black and white layout.

Oppo R1 X is powered by Snapdragon 615 chipset, Snapdragon is general choice in most of the mid-range mobile phones. Oppo offers 2 GB of RAM to quick completion of multitask. Internally, 16GB of phone memory is a huge space to store apps, media file and document. In case to extend storage space, you can expand via micro SD card slot up to 128 GB. But at a time you can use either additional SIM slot or expandable memory. If you plan to use micro SD slot, you won’t be able to use dual SIM functionality as they both share on single slot.

On other hand, SIM 1 supported with penta-band 3G and triple-band LTE. Oppo R1 X also offers Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity features.

Rear 13MP camera which comes with a fast f2.0 lens allows to record videos in slow motion mode. The front 5MP camera is suitable for taking selfies and it can also be used for video calling service. Moreover, Oppo R1 X is available in remarkable price compared to other mid-ranged Smartphone’s.
