When I attempt to setup my email on my android device using an Exchange Activesync settings, I received the following error "You don't have permission to sync with this server. Contact your server's administrator for more information.". At first, I find it difficult to look for some fixes on how to troubleshoot this kind of error when I suddenly got the following email that states:
"You have 10 phone partnerships out of the maximum allowed 10 partnerships. After you reach the maximum, you can't create additional partnerships until you delete existing ones from your account. To do so, sign in to Outlook Web App, click Options > Phone > Mobile Phones, and delete any unused partnerships."
Fixing Server Exchange ActiveSync Error
1. Login to your email account using Outlook Web App (OWA).
2. Go to Options.
3. Then Go to Phone tab.
4. You will see lists of mobile phones that you've synchronized with Microsoft Exchange. There are options where you can see more details of the device that you've connected with, wipe device, show recovery password, start logging, delete, and refresh.
5. You can now select which mobile device that you want to remove in the list for you add a new device.
