Have you experienced while charging your android smartphone it only stuck at 99 percent? There are various reasons that causes this kind of dilemma. Either you flashed your phone into custom/stock rom, or the charger cable of your phone is defective or faulty.
Solution No.1
Fix for Custom Rom/Newly flashed Stock Rom
1. Shutdown your phone completely.
2. Let it take a full charge without the android OS running.
3. Unplug the charger
4. Remove the battery for a few minutes.
5. Then put the battery back and turn on your phone.
6. Plug the charger back once again and wait until 30-45 minutes to finish this last trickle charge.
Solution No. 2
If above solution didn't fix the charging issue of your phone, you may try to calibrate your phone using any battery calibrator from playstore. Please note that it requires your phone to have a root access which means rooting your device may void the warranty and it could harm your phone.
Solution No. 3
Based on one of my colleague, he also experience some of his devices that stuck at 99% while charging. The best solution that really works is to replaced the charger cable.
After series of test, after changing the charger cable, his devices can now be fully charged at 100%. From his point of view, find an original and shorter charger cable. This could improve the charging performance of your phone as compared to longer wires.
