How to Root or Unroot Stable ROM (v15, v18, v19, v22 and v23 only)
Rooting Procedure
1. Download below root file according to your ROM version and save it on the root directory of your phone.
2. Open UPDATER app
3. Select SYSTEM UPDATES
4. Tap on the menu button and SELECT UPDATE PACKAGE
5. Browse the root file that you download and apply it.
6. Wait for it to finish. If it asks to reboot, just press reboot.
7. Once your phone has booted, open SECURITY APP then enable ROOT PERMISSION.
8. Cheers! You may now enjoy your rooted Xiaomi MI3.
Unrooting Procedure
1. Download the unroot file for your version
2. Disable root permission in SECURITY APP
3. Open UPDATER and select SYSTEM UPDATES
4. Tap on the Menu button and then tap SELECT UPDATE PACKAGE
5. Browse the unroot file and apply it.
6. Wait for it to finish. If it asks to reboot, just press reboot.
