How to:Update Samsung Galaxy S3 [i9300] to Android KitKat 4.4.1

Google recently introduced 4.4.1 (KitKat) Android operating system, most of the Samsung Galaxy smartphone user waiting for official Kitkat update. Stop waiting for Android 4.4.1, update device with CM 11.0 KitKat firmware. This recently released firmware available for latest smartphone including Samsung Galaxy S3, Sony Xperia Z and HTC one.
Samsung Galaxy S3 one of the successful smartphone with Android Jelly bean version operating system. Device looks cool in rounded corner edge and comes with 32-GB expandable memory.  


What brings more in CynogenMod (11.0) KitKat Firmware:
 Advance voice enabled Google search bar unlock by saying "OK Google". we also a transparent status bar with icon. So moving on to App drawer, you get default music player-that we have in CynogenMod [11.0] and DSP manager which enhances the music quality.

All the application that we get in this ROM works perfectly. Other basic functionality like Wi-Fi , bluetooth, NFC etc works good, even the GPS works without any problem. So these are the benchmarks in this ROM, and battery life is truly amazing-you get 12 hours in heavy uses (22 hours in moderate uses).

For better look, to change wallpaper>tap and hold home screen>display settings> choose options(wallpaper, widget)

Updating Kitkat firmware:
Before installing this firmware, it is better to have a backup in external memory and hard reset Samsung galaxy S3. And this Rom is compatible in all the variant of HTC One device too.  Download and install CM(11.0) as well as Gapps from given link:
