GloMobileSchool Helps you Take your Lessons on the Go

In line with her continual efforts to supporting education in the country, Glo has launched an interactive SMS system. Glo Mobile School, an educational platform aimed at inspiring students to learn and conduct learning activities beyond the scope of the traditional classes.

Glo Mobile School, is one of the earliest SMS services introduced by Glo. This services is hosted on a dedicated short code 33188 and it covers different sections such as real time past questions tests where subscribers attempt the challenges as would in a real exams.

The SMS alerts you recieve as a subscriber include: education News, Admission/Scholarships alert, learning tips amongst others.

How the GloMobileSchool Works

At first, it should be noted that the GloMobileSchool service is available to both postpaid and prepaid Glo subscribers and the SMS alerts you receive are on daily basis.

How to Subscribe

To subscribe to the GloMobileSchool service, SMS “SCH” to 33188 at a cost of N25/week. Don't worry! You can unsubscribe at any time you wish to.
Once your message has being successfully delivered, you would receive an instant command message to select J for junior or S for senior subscription.
If you have selected S i.e if you are subscribing as a senior school subscriber, you will receive another command as text message instructing you to choose your choice of course category, (1=ART, 2 =COMMERCIAL, and 3=SCIENCE) and then, you would be registered accordingly.

Following a successful subscription, you would be receiving five (5) past questions test at the cost of N2/SMS daily. You would be sent your total score with the corresponding answers as message after the first 5 answers.
Also, you should know that there would be a general test via SMS. This general test qualifies each participating student for some winnings and it comes up on weekends.
